Dr. Peralta-Rodríguez holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from UC Davis and graduate degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois and University of Coahuila (Mexico). He is currently Senior Research Officer at the Centro de Investigación en Química Aplicada (CIQA) in Saltillo, Mexico, and has held academic positions at the University of Coahuila and invited professorships at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Instituto Tecnológico de Toluca. His research career spans biomedical nanotechnology, polymeric drug delivery, and pharmaceutical formulation. He has authored 84 peer-reviewed articles, nine book chapters, and holds three patents, with over 800 citations. He has served as reviewer for research submissions across multiple journals and brings postdoctoral and visiting scientist experience from UC Davis, CSIC Valencia, and the Campden & Chorleywood Food Research Association (UK).

Alexandru Mihai Grumezescu is a lecturer in the Department of Science and Engineering of Oxide Materials and Nanomaterials, at the Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science, Politehnica University of Bucharest, Romania. He is an experienced researcher and published editor in the field of nano and biostructures. He is the editor-in-chief of two international open access journals: Biointerface Research in Applied Chemistry, Letters and Applied NanoBioScience. Dr. Grumezescu has published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers, authored nine books, and has served as an editor for more than 50 scholarly books.
