Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper.

Upon acceptance, a $450 USD Article Processing Charge (APC) applies. Fee waivers are available for authors facing financial hardship — see our Fee Waiver Policy for details.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure

Authors must disclose whether artificial intelligence (AI) tools were used in the preparation of the manuscript. Authors should clearly state whether AI was not used, or, if used, specify the extent and purpose of its application (e.g., language editing, literature search assistance, data analysis). AI tools must not be listed as authors, and authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and originality of the submitted work, including any content generated with AI assistance.

Editorial Standards

IJAIAR requires that all manuscripts be prepared in accordance with the "Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals" published by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). We support and adhere to the "Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing," a joint statement by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), and the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA).

Manuscripts may be rejected without peer review if they:
- fall outside the journal's scope
- do not follow the Author Guidelines
- are unclear in language or presentation
- present results insufficient to support the stated conclusions
- are not objectively based on valid experimental or methodological grounds
- substantially repeat results already published by the same or other authors
